Trevor Callan

Trevor Callan started his career in financial advisory and wealth management in 1992 with Shearson Lehman Brothers. In 1994, he transferred to Merrill Lynch where he spent the next 12 years. During his tenure with Merrill Lynch, he earned several service awards and ultimately became a First Vice President. Additionally, he was selected through a rigorous testing process to be the first advisor to represent the Merrill Lynch Private Banking and Investment Group (PBIG) in San Diego, an operation dedicated to clients with liquid assets in excess of $10 million.
In 2007, Trevor co-founded Callan Capital with his two brothers Ryan and Tim Callan. Callan Capital provides high net worth families with independent and expert advice in all the areas important to a significant estate: Asset management, concentrated stock strategies, financial planning, private banking, tax minimization, lending, insurance, philanthropic planning, trust and intergenerational wealth transfer planning.

Trevor has a B.S. in Finance from San Diego State University. He earned a Certified Investment Manger Analyst (CIMA) designation following coursework and examination at the Wharton School. Trevor was the recipient of the Top 40 Under 40 award in 2007 by the San Diego Metropolitan Magazine.

Trevor balances his career with philanthropy and family. Trevor is a current Board Member of San Diego Social Venture Partners. He is a former Board Member and is currently active in the La Jolla Music Society. He is a Co-Founder and current Board Member of the Equinox Center which is a non-partisan, independent, nonprofit research center focused on economically sound environmental sustainability for the San Diego region. Trevor lives in La Jolla with his wife Sandy and baby girl Jade.
