Funding Topic: Economic Inequality

SVP defines economic inequality as the unequal distribution of income and opportunity between different groups in society.

SVP is looking to fund organizations that are working to address and/or support populations  affected by economic inequality as well as support organizations working to promote economic equality in San Diego. Examples of such organizations are in our Grant Guidelines (below).

Our application for funding and volunteer support is now open and will close on February 28th at 5pm. All letters of interest are due at that time.

Some details on our selection process:

  • One to two nonprofits will be selected, each receiving at least $20k (unrestricted) over a 2-year period

  • Grants are just the beginning. Selected nonprofits will also receive a team of SVP Partners that provide volunteer capacity building support for at least two years.

  • We highly recommend you call our office to discuss our unique funding program and application. 858-412-5331
