BECOME PART OF THE SAN DIEGO PHILANTHROPY COMMUNITY!
San Diego Social Venture Partners is a 501(c)(3) philanthropic membership organization that provides funding and pro-bono consulting to strengthen local nonprofits in our community. We aim to deepen our impact by leveraging our skills, networks, and dollars. Our Partners bring time, treasure, and talent to deliver a dynamic and unique experience that captures the spirit of philanthropy. By working with nonprofits of San Diego, we are learning with them about the needs of the community and how to be better philanthropists. San Diego Social Venture Partners offers the unique opportunity for our members to volunteer their time in the most efficient and beneficial way, coupled with the peace of mind that their donations are leveraged in the most strategic way.
WHAT IS A PARTNER?
Partners are individuals in San Diego that want to see real change. Our Partners volunteer their time, talent and experience to the nonprofit community. They often have exactly the business perspective and operational know-how that nonprofits need and struggle to find resources to develop. They can also participate in our program to choose which organizations receive our pooled grant funds.

“Since joining SVP, the biggest transformation for me personally has been taking the desire to give back to the community and being able to put it into practice. SVP has introduced me to the local nonprofit community and shown me how I can take my knowledge and skills from the for-profit community and leverage them to assist some really great organizations here in San Diego.”
