Ralph’s expertise is in accounting, finance, valuation, business strategy and analytics. He is a former partner at a global investment firm where he headed Financials research into banks, insurers, real estate concerns and asset managers. He and his team traveled extensively, meeting with companies from around the world to determine their investment merits. He also sat on two investment committees, constructing global equity portfolios on various strategies . He retired at the end of 2018 to spend more time with his family, pursue private investing and support the non-profit community. He volunteers actively at his alma mater and is a partner at San Diego Social Venture Partners, an organization specializing in providing support services to local non-profits. Ralph has participated in and led projects that helped non-profits improve their operations, positioning them to better serve their respective missions.

He resides in San Diego, CA with his family. He has dual citizenship, US and Swiss, two children, and travels extensively. In previous roles he worked as a CPA at a large accounting firm, obtained his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)designation and earned his MBA from Columbia Business School.
