Sarah, a native San Diegan, has been active in the philanthropic world for over 15 years in various roles. She studied biological anthropology and cognitive science at UC San Diego and worked in biological research for a short time before she discovered her real passion is to help nonprofit organizations effectively achieve their mission by raising funds and building relationships in the community.

She obtained her Master’s degree in nonprofit management and leadership from University of San Diego and currently works as the Associate Director of Philanthropy at Rady's Children's Hospital Foundation. When not at work Sarah enjoys running, attending live music shows, spending time with her dog, and traveling.
