JANEAL FORD

Janeal Ford is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Fordable Fundraising and is an expert fundraiser with more than 20 years of experience managing fundraising programs. After a lengthy career working in development for nonprofits, Ford started Fordable Fundraising, a firm providing consulting and grant writing services. Initially, she started as a freelance grant writer at her kitchen table and has since grown the company to a team of 10 employees. To date, the company has helped nonprofit leaders secure more than $66 million in charitable gifts.

Ford loves sharing the joy of fundraising and served as an instructor for UCSD Nonprofit Management Certificate Program for four years. Additionally, Ford has served on numerous boards and committees, including Association of Fundraising Professionals, Cause San Diego, Utah Nonprofits Association, Leadership Dixie, Junior League of Salt Lake, and the Salt Lake Chamber.

Ford holds a BS in Sociology and a master’s in public administration from the University of Utah and earned a certification as a Certified Fund-Raising Executive (CFRE).

Originally from Utah, Ford has called San Diego home for 11 years. In her off time, she enjoys being with her family, spending time in nature, and exploring the world.
