CHRISTY HOLT

Christy Holt is a results-driven marketing leader with expertise in business growth across startups and large-scale organizations in the medical device and diagnostics sectors. She specializes in strategic marketing, business development, and product commercialization, leveraging data-driven insights to optimize customer segmentation and competitive positioning. Holt began her career in research and development before transitioning to marketing at Medtronic. She is currently a vice president of marketing and business development consultant, leading cross-functional teams to accelerate product development and expand market share. She previously held leadership roles at Q’Apel Medical, Thermo Fisher (formerly Mesa Biotech), and Medtronic, managing multimillion-dollar portfolios, launching global products, and driving revenue growth.
Holt has served as a mentor through the Society of Women Engineers, guiding young professionals in STEM careers. She co-chaired Medtronic’s Neurovascular Women’s Employee Resource Group, leading professional development initiatives and earning the Star of Excellence award. She also supports her alma mater by grading scholarship essays for the University of Missouri and has participated in multiple beach cleanups to promote sustainability.
Holt holds a master’s degree in biomedical engineering from the University of California, Riverside, and a bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering from the University of Missouri.
Holt has a passion for travel, concerts, and wine tasting and enjoys supporting Mizzou and Chiefs football. She enjoys spending time with her family and two dogs, Nacho and Pistachio.
