DEVON MCLACHLAN

Devon McLachlan has extensive experience in financial analysis and budgeting. He worked at Google for six years as a financial analyst, managing an annual budget of $800 million to $1 billion and overseeing headcount for more than 2,000 employees and 4,000 contractors. His expertise includes managing annual budgeting processes and forecasting hiring needs. McLachlan currently works for Alta Mesa, a real estate development company managing over 2,500 acres in El Paso, Texas, where he focuses on financial analysis, investor relations, and governmental permitting approval. Before this role, he was an investment banking analyst at Credit Suisse, working on IPOs and mergers for technology companies in San Francisco.

McLachlan has previously volunteered with Meals on Wheels in San Francisco and the Berkeley Humane Society. He will soon be joining the board of directors for the Border Industrial Association, a New Mexico nonprofit that promotes industrial growth in the New Mexico Border region.

McLachlan holds a bachelor's degree in business from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley.

McLachlan enjoys surfing and snowboarding and has traveled to more than 50 countries since 2015. He has been studying Spanish for the past three years and has recently taken up Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
