BOB MURTFELDT

Bob Murtfeldt has an extensive background in business development. From 2016 to 2020, he served as a business development consultant, primarily with MedTech and financial institutions, and was the Senior Director of Business Development with Johnson & Johnson for 11 years, retiring in 2015. He previously worked in senior business development and marketing roles at Insulet Corporation and Medtronic MiniMed.

Murtfeldt has a diverse background in volunteerism, serving as the board advisor and leadership coach for the Southern California Biomedical Council for nine years. He also was involved with the Diabetes Leadership Council in the Bay Area for a decade and was a Business Development Coach with UCLA Anderson School Entrepreneurship Program.

Murtfeldt earned a BS in biochemistry and a BSChE in chemical engineering from the University of Wisconsin. He has an MBA in corporate finance from the University of Southern California.

In his free time, Murtfeldt enjoys road cycling, yoga, traveling, astronomy and participating in local activities with family, including his wife, son, daughter-in-law and two grandsons.
