MARK NEILSON

Mark Neilson is the Founder of Accretive of Indiana and Accretive of San Diego, which were each formed in October 2010 to provide an “out of the box” approach to cost and expense reduction efforts for organizations seeking “better practices.” He is a self-proclaimed “recovering CFO,” and his team consists of other recovering C-level execs.
Neilson also serves on the Board of Directors of Supreme Industries, a $300 Million publicly-traded manufacturer of truck bodies and specialty vehicles, Smoker Craft, a manufacturer of recreational and fishing boats and several other privately-held companies in various industries. He also currently serves as Board Chair for Volunteers of America of SW California, a non-profit organization and is a member of Association for Corporate Growth and Corporate Directors’ Forum in San Diego.
Neilson's professional career includes Executive Leadership roles with Tatum San Diego and Phoenix, Towne Air Freight, Shelter Components Corporation and McGladrey & Pullen.
He holds a BA in Accounting from Ball State University and was a CPA from 1983 through 1990. Additionally, he was a 25-year volunteer, fundraiser and board member for the Big Brothers-Big Sisters agency in his former hometown of Elkhart, Indiana. He is currently a Big Brother for the third time and is active in church and civic activities.
