Robin is focused on enhancing our San Diego region through facilitating conversations about organizational culture, strategy, talent acquisitions, succession planning, and project management. Facilitating is a key word – making conversations that can be challenging easier. Ensuring that all stakeholder voices are “heard” and incorporated into the design and execution of a “path forward” is where Robin focuses her attention and contributions.

Robin is currently serving as Supporting Faculty in the business schools at two universities – Lasell University in Boston and Pepperdine University in Los Angeles and consulting with an array of non-profits on strategy, leadership, governance, organization culture, and talent management issues. By way of professional background, she spent more than two decades in business, academia, and government organizations as an executive in health care, as a management consultant and a business owner, and as the co-founder and co-owner of a retained executive search firm. As a scholar-practitioner, Robin translates academic research findings to apply in real-world organizational situations.

Currently, Robin serves on several community service and academic governance boards – Member of the Board of Overseers for Lasell University, President of the Juniper Front Community Garden, and as Secretary on the Board of The Lodge at Bankers Hill Homeowners Association.

Skilled at understanding stakeholder perspectives, Robin is adept at facilitating conversations about the gamut of organizational challenges. Acknowledged by multiple leadership teams as an effective facilitator, Robin “provided clarity in problem and issue identification, the ability to depersonalize some very sensitive issues and a keen, working understanding of group processes that resulted in unanimous approval of solutions generated.”

Robin is a native of San Diego, while she lived and learned in a variety of environments – California, Oregon, Colorado, and Massachusetts. She earned her Ph.D. at Claremont Graduate University (Peter Drucker Management School & Education Studies) in Los Angeles, MBA from Simmons University in Boston, Massachusetts, and her BA with Honors from the University of California—Santa Barbara in Political Science-American Government concentration. Fortunate to have grown up near the beach, she loves surfing, as well as soccer, opera and theatre, gardening, cooking, and world travel. Among her passion projects are online global education, Community gardening and sustainable gardening practices, women veterans, refugee and indigent populations, and animal welfare.
