JOYCE ROSS

Joyce Ross was a founding partner of Ross Partners, an international management consulting and leadership training firm. As an organizational development consultant, Joyce worked with numerous clients in the private sector, including Royal Dutch Shell, Ralston Purina, IBM, Intel, and Cleveland Clinic to name a few, and many public organizations throughout the West. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Southern California and has been on the faculty of the University of Southern California and San Diego State University.
Now retired, Joyce has a continuing commitment to improving the quality of life for all in her community. Through San Diego Social Venture Partners, she currently devotes a majority of her time to pro bono consulting to non-profit organizations in the areas of board development and governance, human resources, and organization development. She has served on numerous non-profit boards and currently serves on the Board of Barrio Logan College Institute. In addition, Joyce is a leader with San Diego Social Venture Partners, through which she offers assistance to non-profit in the areas of board governance, structure, composition, and best practices.
