SCOTT SCHECHTER

Scott Schechter is a financial advisor at Eagle Strategies, LLC and has been helping families and businesses with their finances since 2002. The primary focus of his work is helping executives and professionals clarify their ultimate business and personal objectives and implement strategies to ensure those objectives are met.

Previously, Schechter worked in economics, finance - and as an equities analyst, assisting in the management of a multi-billion dollar portfolio. He has also consulted with multi-national corporations on turnaround strategies, valuation and tax-strategy work.

Schechter has an MBA from the University of Chicago, and MA in economics from Northwestern University and is a Certified Financial Planner.

Schechter believes in being of service of to the community. He is a Jewish Community Foundation Trusted Charitable Advisor and has volunteered for a variety of other non-profit organizations on committees and boards. While in Chicago, he served on the board of the North Center Chamber of Commerce and created a philanthropy committee that provided financial support to the community.

When not working, Schechter enjoys sailing and racing sailboats competitively. He has been married for 23 years. Together with his wife, Isabel enjoy international travel, camping and hiking. They moved to San Diego from Chicago in 2014.
