KAREN TRISSEL

Trissel’s passion is connecting data and insights to identify growth opportunities, solve complex business challenges, and help leaders make better decisions. She started her career in brand management at General Mills and held executive positions at Jack in the Box as VP, Brand Strategy & Product Development and as Chief Insights & Analytics Officer. Her current role is EVP, Data Analytics at Event Network. As a consultant, Trissel’s engagements focused on strategic planning, brand strategy and consumer insights. She worked with a diverse range of clients, including retailers, fast-casual restaurants, packaged goods brands, and non-profits.

As a consultant, Trissel co-led numerous strategy projects for non-profits across the sector, including human services, youth development, arts, environment and community development. She has served on the boards of Every Monday Matters, Jack in the Box Foundation, and Solana Beach Foundation for Learning.

Trissel received her undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and her MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management.

In her spare time, Trissel enjoys pottery, gardening, reading, staying active, and traveling.
