John Zakharia is the founder and chief executive officer of Glimmer Tours, a Catholic pilgrimage company that organizes all-inclusive group tours for travelers across the United States. The company’s tours take clients to sacred destinations overseas, handling all logistics to ensure a smooth and enriching experience. Before launching Glimmer Tours, Zakharia worked in lead generation and digital marketing, helping businesses develop customer acquisition strategies. With over a decade of experience as a business owner and consultant, he specializes in streamlining operations through automation and data-driven decision-making.

Zakharia is committed to philanthropy, supporting nonprofit initiatives that provide medical care and clean water to underserved communities. He has contributed to many local fundraising efforts and was a member of the Chamber of Commerce.

He holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from San Diego State University, graduating summa cum laude.

Zakharia lives in San Diego with his wife and three children. He enjoys staying active, spending time with family, and playing pickleball.
