SORAYA ALEXANDER

Soraya Alexander serves as the Chief Operating Officer of GoFundMe and as the President of Classy, a GoFundMe subsidiary. Through her work, Alexander supports thousands of nonprofits and hundreds of thousands of people to unlock the world's generosity.

Her career has spanned operations, marketing, customer growth, and consumer strategy across tech, retail, media, and public interest. She has been named to San Diego Business Journal's 40 Next Top Business Leaders Under 40 list and is deeply committed to supporting the incredible ambition of San Diego's social sector.

Alexander has served on the Board of Directors for Urban Surf for Kids, as Honorary Co-Chair of the San Diego Cause Conference, and as a member of the Harvard Iranian Alumni association.

Alexander is conversant in Farsi and Greek. In her free time, she loves exploring San Diego and the world with her husband and two kids.
