JIM BORNEMANN

Since 1996, Jim Bornemann has been a senior executive with the Encinitas based Paul Ecke family of companies and is currently Chief Financial Officer of Carltas Company, the real estate development division. His experience in real estate development and finance spans over 25-years during which time he has held senior positions at Brookfield Homes, Pacific Scene, Inc. and USA Properties Fund. Prior to his career in real estate and finance, James was an aerospace engineer with Rockwell International.

Bornemann is a past or current member of the Board of Directors of California Community Bank, Paul Ecke Ranch and Discovery Isle Child Development Center, Inc. A native of California, he received his BS from California Lutheran University in 1974, and his MBA from University of Southern California in 1979.

Bornemann currently resides with his wife Cindy and two children in Carlsbad, California.
