THOMAS BOYD

Thomas Boyd is President of Anthology BioDevelopment LLC, a consulting firm that provides advice and support for drug development projects in small and mid-sized companies in the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors.

During his 35 years in the field, Boyd has spearheaded the advancement of several new therapeutic agents into first-in-man trials and has held team leadership roles for the preparation of marketing applications for new drugs.

Prior to his present role, Boyd was Senior Vice President of Product Development at Progenics Pharmaceuticals where he headed nonclinical development and regulatory affairs. Boyd also worked in project management positions at Boehringer Ingelheim, Alteon, Inc., Wyeth-Ayerst Research and Revlon Health Care.

He has a BA in Biological Sciences from Cornell University and a Ph.D. in Biology from Brown University.

Boyd has a strong interest in giving back to the community, and he currently serves on the boards of the Mount Desert Island Biological Laboratory (Maine) and the Cornell Club of San Diego.
