JOHN FRY

John Fry has decades of experience in the life science space and the automotive industry. While working at Thermo Fisher Scientific, Fry led a diverse set of global operations teams in laboratory plastic consumables, electron microscopy analytical instruments and specialty diagnostics while also leading high-profile M&A integrations, business consolidations and operations strategy at the corporate level.

Locally, Fry helped scale Mesa Biotech, a small diagnostics platform acquired by Thermo Fisher with an over 10x growth during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Most of John’s community service work occurred while in a leadership position with TRW where he served as a board member for the Arizona Chamber of Commerce, East Valley Partnership, City of Mesa Chamber of Commerce, City of Mesa Economic Development and the United Way.

Fry has a BS from California State University, Fresno with an emphasis in Industrial Engineering as well as an MBA from Arizona State University. He completed a Global Leadership Program with the American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird).

Fry enjoys playing basketball, beach volleyball, tennis and golf in his free time, and he travels extensively with his wife and family.
