Erica brings her background in management, finance, communications and public service to the SVP team. Prior to relocating to San Diego, she worked for Goldman Sachs in New York, most recently as Chief Operating Officer of Investment Banking Services. She joined the management group after working on M&A and financings and was involved with business selection, staffing and internal management.

She in her fourth year as President of the Board of Trustees for the Del Mar Union School District where she has served since 2015. She has also been Vice President of Philanthropy for the National Charity League, San Dieguito Chapter, and a representative on the Earl Warren Middle School Site Council. She was PTA President at Del Mar Heights School and has served as a volunteer and board member for many nonprofits.

Erica was previously the Director of Communications and Marketing for the Presidio Trust during the conversion of the Presidio of San Francisco into a self-funding national park. After college she worked in education reform at Partners in School Innovation through AmeriCorps.

She holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BA from the School of Journalism at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with a double major in political science.

She and her husband Mike relocated their family from New York to Del Mar in 2011. While not busy parenting – and driving around – two daughters and a son, Erica enjoys yoga, tennis, travel and hiking Torrey Pines.
